The Junior Animal Nursing Assistant program is an in-depth study program which follows on from the Animal Welfare and Nurses Aid program. Focusing on basic animal techniques and procedures.
This program provides a solid grounding of fundamentals, skills and knowledge to begin a career in the animal healthcare industry.
Many of our graduates from this program have gone on to work in veterinary hospitals, wildlife shelters and emergency centres. Working with sick and injured animals is very rewarding and this program is designed to provide graduates with the ability to obtain a position in this highly sort after career path.
Program - This exciting and unique program is offered via Distance Education or through our Online Teaching facility in a progressive learning format, with each section of the program building on from the previous.
Award - The program leads to the: ASPCS Certificate in Junior Animal Nursing Assistant; which is endorsed by the P.R.I.D.E Guild can be completed at the students own pace and in the privacy of their own home.
Assessments - This program contains of four main modules and assessments and one research project.
