How are the tuition fees paid?
Tuition fees are paid prior to the commencement of your study program, in full. Money orders, direct deposits and Bankcard, Mastercard and visa are all accepted. Payment options are available with a $150.00 non- refundable deposit and the balance is paid over a three month period in three easy instalments.

When the final payment is made your study materials pack will be despatched to you, ready for you to begin. International students add AUD $100.00 to cover insurance of goods and postage.


How long does the course take to complete?
Each of the study programs differ, however most of the programs are designed as short 12 week courses and most students complete their studies over a three month period. Some of the applied programs are completed over a six month period. As the courses are Flexible education students can structure their timetable to suit their needs. Therefore you have the flexibility & convenience to complete the programs in your own time and at your own pace. Online teaching facility registration is for 6 months. If you require a longer time period just let your tutor know. It is that simple to study with us.

Are the courses recognized?

All of our programs are recognised and endorsed by the P.R.I.D.E Guild- Professional Recognition in Distance Education. Our programs meet the very high standards set by the Guild, which ensures all students of a registered P.R.I.D.E Guild such as ourselves deliver students Professional, Expert Education, which has content presented in a clear and concise professional format tutored by distance education. Our students can apply for student membership and all of our students and graduates can register to take part in their Practical Industry Awards, in Animal Healthcare Studies.

We are a full practitioner Member & Industry Partner of the Holistic Health Association International Inc, our students of the Massage Therapies For Pets, Natural Home Remedies & Natural Nutritional and Aromatherapy For Pets are entitled to apply for student membership.

Our programs are also industry recognised, we receive many referrals from TAFE, Employment Agencies, Animal Welfare Industry Professionals and employers. Our graduates have gone on to gain employment in veterinary hospitals, grooming salons, boarding kennels, wildlife shelters, training schools, pet shops and zoological parks. Are the materials up to date?
Our Research and Development Team revise & update all of our study programs and materials every six months, this enables us to provide the student with the latest up to date materials and information. We are very proud to be the only adult learning institute in Australia to provide this for our students. We are constantly updating and adding new materials to our programs to ensure our programs remain at a very high standard.


What do students receive when studying with Australian School of Petcare Studies?
The tuition fees are a ‘one off’ fee, there are no extra fees to the program, for exams or graduation. Course Unit Reader and Handbook are forwarded to students with their online ‘key’ to access the interactive online teaching campus - ‘E-Paws’. We do have a small selection of other educational materials should the student wish to purchase added materials from our e-store.

Together with the Study Materials Pack you receive after enrolling, students also receive one of our special gifts. To further enjoy your learning experience we personalize all your study manuals and guides with your name and enrolment number, all our materials are beautifully presented so you can keep them as a future reference.

Those students that do not have regular access to the internet can complete the program completely in a correspondence mode.


Completing practical experience:
Students who decide to work towards our most prestigious awards, the ASPCS Diploma awards, can partake in 50 hours of practical experience. Students can complete these hours in their own time and at their own pace. Methods of completion include:
With your own dogs; keeping a logbook record
Within your own business; keeping a logbook record
Volunteer position; employers fill in log book
Paid employment; employers fill in log book
Students receive an award for their practical experience.


OnLine Campus and E-Learning Centre
We have a fully interactive Online Campus and E-Learning System to provide students with the added benefits of utilizing learning tools that are available world wide, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Services are available to those students who have regular access to the internet and for those who do not have access to the internet, we can print material out and forward on through the post.

Courses are offered via our fully interactive online campus E-PAWS, the service contains valuable learning tools available such as -

Module Lectures: Tutors take students through module by module and step by step, through the program.
Discussion Group: Each program runs a discussion group for students to interact and ask questions.
Course Library and resources: Each program has its own specialised E-Library and resources. Depending on the program, resources include learning materials such as; videos, slides, articles, journals and charts available for students to access during their studies.
Interactive Quizzes and Assessments: Giving students the opportunity to move through a personal design pace to suit their lifestyle.

The Online Campus and E-Learning Centre is open to students 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
